The history behind the car..
The Rolls Royce Silver Spirit was produced between 1980 and 1997 by the Rolls Royce Crewe factory as a full sized luxury car. Our car is a series 1 vehicle made in 1985 with a 6.75 litre V8 engine with a three speed automatic gearbox operated from a 'stick shift' situated on the steering wheel.
Described as "like riding on a flying carpet" as hydraulic suspension adsorbs even the roughest of roads to ensure the "flying carpet" experience for its passengers.
Our car originally left the crewe factory in 1985 in a dark brown colour however was resprayed in its current cream with gold pin stripes prior to being initially used as a luxury limouisne in the Bournemouth area.
The car joined us at Forest of Bowland wedding cars in 2019 and has become a popular choice both for the bride and bridesmaids and often used alongside one of our vintage cars to transport the grooms party to the wedding service.
